ABOUT ME

I've been obsessed with long drives since back when I got my license and caught the bug for even further travel after spending a month in Europe summer of 2012. I am easy going, adventurous, kind hearted, feisty, creative, and an explorer. I am the kind of person who gets off work at 6pm and drives 12 hours to somewhere I've never been to spend my two days off there and drive back. I love solo road trips but I also love company. I love chasing the sun to the most beautiful place to watch the sunset in the area I am.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to be the best hostess and guest that I can. I'm on travels of my own couch surfing so I don't really have a place for you to stay. However I do love to meet up and when I do have a place of my own again I will be hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I do like to crash on couches belonging to other people and one of the greatest feelings is new friends to take up your living room. I want to see new places from the view of those that know those places best. I want to show you the quirky, fun things that you wouldn't find on lonely planet or yelp.

Interests

Reading, snowboarding, yoga, swimming, music, traveling, backpacking, creating, design, hiking, family, friends, and new experiences!

I like to be outside and I live to enjoy life I think my favorite thing to do lately is long backpacking trips on a weekend off.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In no particular order some of my favorites:
Driving down highway pacific coast highway 1 and stumbling upon Bixby Bridge
Road Trip from Västerås Sweden all around Norway (trollstigen, north atlantic bridges, fjords, lærdal tunnel, old mountain road)
I saw the moon rise long after the sun had already gone down while camping on the San Rafael Swell in Southern Utah
Watching the sun rise over the Grand Canyon
1 month backpacking trip through Europe
Getting off work to drive to the coast of California and arrive at Bixby bridge 13 hours later just as the sun was rising and the fog of the coast was at it's heaviest
Staying in a converted bus in Salinas, California with a host who teaches Kundalini Yoga

Teach, Learn, Share

I can take you out on the slopes I definitely can't teach you to ski but I can assist you in snowboarding. Brighton is my favorite and I'm happy to give you a tour of the mountain. I can take you on an ass kicking hike with incredible views. I can help you learn some yoga basics and if you are a fellow yogi I would love to learn from you as well. (I have an extra mat) I like to learn new phrases in other languages and about anything really. I want to inspire and be inspired by others.
