About Me
¡Wepaaaa! (Hi in Puerto Rican)
I'm Alejandra, 25 years young puertorican vegan woman. I consider myself a free spirited entrepreneur, nature lover, and a strong believer in equality and justice. My biggest passion and love is my country, Puerto Rico. I am a Law student and at the same time I organize entrepreneurship events, basically to help people turn their ideas into sustainable businesses. Before, I was almost an expert backpacker, I have visited around 30 countries but now I am an adult, with bills to pay, and with limited travels. 3 months ago I made the decision to become vegan and I am fascinated by this lifestyle. I made the change because I was diagnosed with 2 autoimmune diseases and the medicines were very strong. Everything I think and do has a purpose, mostly linked to benefit PR in someway. I discovered that I challenge the status quo daily, I just don't notice. What is normal to me, is not normal for society. My daily goal is to learn something or to help somebody. My long term goal is to be the Secretary of Economic Development of Puerto Rico. Please include the word ¨Borinquen¨ when you send me a host request.
My time is precious, so I tend to surround myself with people who are open minded, genuine, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and most importantly, that can add value to my life. My interests can be resumed in: politics, entrepreneurship, business ideas, history, decolonization, diversity of cultures, equality, women empowerment, environment, internationalization of local businesses, eat/shop local and connect with people who want to make a difference.
PHILOSOPHY
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery.
Learn by doing.
Time is limited so seize the day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently, go to the beach after work.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you have this stereotyped expectation that because I'm puerto rican I can teach you how to dance salsa, sorry to inform you that I kinda suck.
Instead, I can teach you how to dance reggaeton, appreciate bomba y plena, take you to amazing local spots (when I'm not busy), go out to eat mofongo, develop business ideas, plan a revolution or/and make you live a local experience in PR.
