When thinking about my past traveling experiences the best moments were meeting the locals and having them show you around their city, food, culture, etc. And when someone asks me about my hometown I get all giddy when sharing the true treasures and uniqueness my city has.

I think now more than ever there is need to to be connected and connect with other people in order to understand our differences about culture, religion, politics, etc. and Couchsurfing holds the platform to do exactly that. Its an opportunity to enter someones else's world through the art of traveling and to bring back home the priceless souvenirs which are the memories you and host shared together.

I hope to also become a host in the near future so that I can also share, connect, laugh and enjoy someone else's company.
