I'm from Santiago, Chile. I have an older sister and a younger brother. I live with my parents.
I love sports, I like watching them and learning about them. When I was little I loved to play football but I never played for a team. As I grew older I started playing volleyball and field hockey in my school (I went to an english school). With time I started playing more and loved learning new sports (cricket, handball, netball, ultimate frisbee...). When I was 16 I was in a car accident and had a very long recovery and which was very hard for me. After all those years and other surgeries I still play field hockey and football (all though my doctor says I shouldn't).
When I was about 3 I started playing the guitar but when I entered school I stopped playing (I have no idea why). When I was 12 I started playing the clarinet, I played till I graduated and now I want to buy a saxophone. The same year I started playing the clarinet I started playing the piano, I had classes every Friday, with the car accident I had to stop taking classes. I still play every now and then and totally love it :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be doing an exchange semester in Belgium from September till January. Before the beginning of the semester I will travel a couple of weeks alone and at the end I will be traveling for one month and a half (till the end of February).

Interests

Music and sports are my biggest interests. Sports let's you take any excess stress out and music let's you listen to your self.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is basically all type of rock, indie, electronic, rock/pop, jazz. Some of my favourite bands or artists are: queen, the beatles, pink floyd, walk the moon, twenty one pilot, taylor swift, half moon run, norah jones, a night without verve, nirvana.

I like all types of movies except for horror movies, I won't be able to sleep. One movie I can watch over and over again is Mean Girls. I love the Marvel movies.

I'm not much of a book fan but I like no read novels every now and then. My favourite book is The Catcher in the Rye.

I played in the under 14, under 16 and under 18 chilean hockey team.

I love food!!!
I'm not great with languages but I'll have no problem with teaching some Spanish. Share some music and learn about the city and county where I'll be hosted.

I can share music and my host can share their music with me, these way I can get more variety of music and get to know new groups or artists. Also I can share my experience through life, I'm young but I have gone through some great obstacles to get me where I am.
