About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Write and paint, continue to live in the quaintest little town in Colombia, in which I´ve been living for a year now. Travel to Japan in October to fulfill my dream of knowing such an amazing country!

ABOUT ME

I love reading, writing and painting. I graduated from Literature and afterwards I went off to Canada to live the travelers dream: buy a van and drive from Alaska to Patagonia, and then...life kind of happened, I got the van but couldn´t travel so I returned in pieces to Colombia. Then I wrote a book– my first– although as a ghost writer and eventually I, against all odds (because I always thought I was a big-city-girl), ended up in a little town in the hills of Colombia which gave me back my happiness through colours, letters and dreams. Ever since I live in this quaint town weaving a life of writing, painting and learning the names of the trees. As always I keep on traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've host a fair few surfers, all of them were really nice and I would love to see again. I´ve surfed and even had one weird experience. Nonetheless out of couchsurfing I met my would be roommates and made some amazing friends that are life lasting.

Also, I think the idea itself of Couch surfing is part of a new way to inhabit and relate in this world that is valuable and hopeful.

Interests

Im gonna go ahead and say books, music, movies, and travel, but then again, don't we all? Nonetheless its true.

Classic Salsa
And Jazz, although I´m not a conoisseur.

Even though I don't believe in god one of the most touching experiences i've had, was a orthodox mass in a church in the middle of Russia.

Camping in the middle of nowhere near Squamish in Canada and having some strange creature– presumably a bear– scratch the van.

New Years in Cobapacaba, Rio de Janeiro.
