We are Cecilia(31) and Alejandro (33), an open- minded Argentinean couple travelling around the world. We want to meet people, get to know their stories and their culture. Besides, we trully enjoy sharing our experiences and knowledge learnt in our trips with our hosts.
We are amazed by our planet earth; thus, we commit taking conscious and sustainable choices in our everyday life, and we intend to motivate others to do so.
Our mission is to share inspiring storytelling in poor classrooms around the world as volunteers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In a time in which violence is the first thing out in the news, we want to experience people's hospitality and kindness in first person to transmit it to the rest of the world.

Interests

Cecilia is a graduated teacher of English, and she is really keen on books, creative writing, languages, nature and yoga.
Alejandro is a graduated business manager. He loves adventure, nature, football, tennis, photograph and mate ,an Argentinean infusion beverage.

Cecilia's favourite books are The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne and Shaun Tan's picture book: The Lost Thing.

Alejandro's favourite movie is Rocky, directed by John G. Avildsen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We felt we weren't living the life we wanted to; instead, we were having the socially accepted lifestyle, repeating our ancestors' stories. However, our ignorance and strong wish to learn all this wonderful globe has to teach us led us to our biggest decision in life: it was time to start writing our own story (living our own life). We left our stable jobs in Argentina, sold everything we had, keeping only the essential things (and trust us, it was less than we imagined), and we were off to see the world! We don't worry so much about what the future may bring us because we are learning to live in the present: NOW.

We lived and travelled in a simple campervan around New Zealand for three months.
