Overview
About Me
Hey! My name is Alejandro, I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm a PhD student and teacher in organic chemistry at University of Buenos Aires.
I consider myself a peaceful and open minded person who loves meeting people and making new friends. I like so much to travel and experience different cultures. When travelling I also enjoy hiking and being out in nature.
I love photography and enjoy doing long walks and taking and seeing photographs of every place I visit. I also love all type of artistic expression. One of my favorite things about travelling is to taste and learn to cook tipical foods because I definitely believe that eating is the very best pleasure in life. Eating and cooking, specially for others. I enjoy spending time with friends and love music festivals and outdoor activities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I would like to meet locals in the different places I visit as I believe that you cannot really know a place if you don't meet local people. You can get a reliable sight of a culture through local eyes. I hope this experience will be the kick off to also recieve travelers at my place. I love beeing helpful and a good host when people come to my place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My country was made mainly with inmigrants during the 19th and 20th century. One of the most amazing things that I have experienced in one of my trips was meeting my grandparent's village in Calabria, Italy, and connecting with my roots.
