About Me
Hello people of the Earth!
It is always a pleasure to know people from distant "lands", I knew some excellent people from Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands before hearing about Couchsurfing, so here I am trying to do the same by this way.
Something about me... I am a biologist and a musician. I was born in Patagonia, but I moved some Km to the north, to study Biology. Now I live in Mendoza, between the mountains and the desert (the wonderful monte desert!).
As a biologist, during my PhD I studied some mechanisms and systems that plants use to detect different colors (a kind of "plant vision system"). After that I became a member of an org. for ecosystems conservation and I work for them now in the El Impenetrable National Park.
As a musician I compose and play progressive rock music, but also folk music from Argentina, among other styles. My main instrument is Piano/Keyboards.
I also like skiing, hiking and climbing.
