About Me

Hello! I am ale!
I am a lover of architecture, teacher and researcher at FADU, Uruguay.
I am currently living in NYC doing an intern until May then I will return to my country. I was fortunate to have two scholarships that allowed me to live and study in Brazil and France. Also allowed me to travel and meet wonderful people from all over the world.

At this moment I am focused on finishing my degree, my project on the reactivation of the national library and the reconversion of public space as a democratic space. There is nothing that I love more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe, knowing people and their culture is the most authentic way to understand a city and its architecture.

I think sometimes it's good to break the routine, break the rhythm of things for a bit and in this way prologue the time that things live.

Interests

A good book or a sketch book, music and a glass of wine. I do not need more for a perfect night.

I love reading, studying and learning about fields that I do not know. I am interested in everything that someone transmits with passion and I try to share my passion for architecture at the same time.

Music, Movies, and Books

One book: Bajo llave - Laura Aleman
One music: Pino - Otto Totland (but play a reggeton and I'm going to dance all night)
One movie: Coco (disney)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were 3,
we took a van and drove through the mountains of northern Norway,
we stayed in a igloo tent,
there was no day, all the time it was night,
we took turns with hot coffee looking at the black and starry sky,
waiting for a color, waiting for a light.
We decided to go out and hunting them
but at the same moment they appeared in front of us.
It was like a dance of colors,
like a poetry that floated on top of the mountains.
none said anything,
the cold disappeared
and the northern lights were our new year lights.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share a good dinner, a long conversation with a glass of wine, a political debate with open head, dreams and ways of thinking about a better world.

I can teach Spanish, to cook, and to see life as something beautiful.

Also other things like:
history of XIX and XX century of architecture
Theory of architecture and architecture project.
