Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Baby I'm in. Why pay money to stay in often plain hotels or hostels when you could get to know the locals, meet people with similar interests, and get the local experience of a place you traveled to visit?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted one couchsurfer from california for a week, have had a drink with a group of couchsurfers in Buenos Aires, and have met couchsurfers in hostels. And open to meeting new surfers. Hit me up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Down-hill mountain biking in Northern Thailand.

The company drove up lush green mountains until we were above the clouds. We geared up and I held on to the handle bars with as much focus as I could summon. We flew down trails with turns, dips, and bridges. We passed through tiny villages scattered on the mountain and saw people collecting wood. Wild fresh lychee off the tree was incredible and sweet. Took a spill on very steep slope but landed with all my bones intact. Hot fried rice with a slice of lime on the side ended the superb experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested in learning new recipes in the kitchen and new moves in salsa dancing.

And on that note I can also share my knowledge of salsa dancing, cooking and baking. I have been dancing salsa on and off for the past three years and it continues to be one of my passions. I have started to give informal group lessons and have taken lessons in Cuba and the USA.
