ABOUT ME

About me, the short story;
I was born in Mexico, raised in Sweden, my mother was mexican, my father El Salvadorian, my great grandfathers where japanese and italian respectively and my roots are of spaniards, not to forget my stepmother that raised me being chilean, yet I have never related to any one of them, never felt the need to define or belong to any one group but when asked, I'm swedish, makes things easier.

Before leaving Sweden I was working in healthcare with handicapped people and children. I was also studying Shaolin kung fu and teaching it.

As for my journey;
It all began with a feeling that came to me, when, I do not know, maybe it had always been a part of me, only silent, sleeping but in time as it came to wake, it called to me in whispers, as it did so, also in roars.
It came from soothing waters, sound and still to trembling skies, raw with thunder and lightning.
It called in voices that hold no sound, rising to be much greater still, until it was in the eyes of my brothers and in the voice of my friends. But as it always called, I, in my humanity never paid it any heed.
Until one year ago when then I quit my job, sold all that I owned, gave away my apartment and left the security of family, friends and the structures of society to roam around the world, truly free.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The joy in the smile of a dear friend, the laughter of brothers, the sight and sound of leaves like brightly coloured flames dancing before the wind in chilly autumn noons, the feel of cool rain caressing warm skin in hot summer days, the hurt of cold, crisp air filling lungs in colder still winter nights, the ruling scent of flowers by early morning spring, the sight of blushing skies touched by the setting sun, the allure of the cold distant moon, the warmth when touched by the sun.

There is no one thing amazing, everything is.
