About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be happy, be healthy, and be successful.

ABOUT ME

I love food, music, movies, learning about other cultures, all things outdoors even when it's raining! I'm very open minded when it comes to learning about new things and trying new things! I've lived in Boston, Austin, Tampa, and currently NYC, and love going to music festivals (ACL '14!!). I guess this is where I put a weird fact... I don't like cheese unless it's melted, but I won't pick it off a dish if it's already there! I'm a very hard worker and a super grateful person. Love to meet new faces, hear cool stories, and hopefully make friends with people all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll try to avoid the cliche. I'm young and I'm constantly figuring out who I am so I don't really have an answer for "Personal Philosophy". My goals are always changing, but one goal that hasn't changed yet is to live a happy, healthy life with minimal stress. I think most people hope to reach at least that if nothing else in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined, hoping to quickly figure out more about how this works

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly have couchsurfed only with people I knew (friends, family, friends of friends/family, etc.) so this is pretty new to me. I've seen them all from the most luxurious, cushiony couches to the old, ratchet-ass wooden ones. I'm not picky when it comes to a place to sleep, obviously there's nothing like the bed at home, but a couch beats the bench in the park 10 times out of 10!

Interests

Food, music, live music, football, soccer, baseball (at the park, I always fall asleep when it's on TV), Breaking Bad, food, live music, Aziz, drinking with friends, kicking back with friends, Entourage, family, meeting new people, new and adventurous experiences, college but not classes- yes they are two different things, Law & Order, herbs, all movies, more food, more live music, beaches, lakes, rivers, all things nature

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- too many to list but I'll go with Comedy, action, drama, documentaries for now

Music - wayyyy to many artists to list... I probably listen to reggae, jam bands, and indie rock more than anything else lately

Books - Tuesdays With Morrie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Salt cathedrals in Colombia, Grand Canyon, Machu Picchu, Nazca Lines, most of the tourist spots in New York. Never been to California, but it's the next place I want to see in the states! Obviously I'd love to eventually go to Europe, NZ, Africa, South America- now that I'm old enough to appreciate it, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to work hard and achieve my goals, it's not too specific, but the specific things I know about the music industry wouldn't be useful to a lot of people unless they're in it too!
