About Me

I'm a dancer and anthropologist from Bogotá, Colombia making his way in New York City and exploring what the world has to offer. I'm very adventurous and passionate about life. I love thrilling experiences and travels, but also a nice and slow conversation on a quaint café or a park.

I am a firm believer that there are many more things that bind us in life that there are things to tear us apart, and so I try to live my life and my travels in that light.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love hospitality and sharing. I grew up in a family and a city where the first thing you do when you have guests is to offer them a meal or a big jar of hot chocolate and a bunch of pastries. When it gets "too late", guests are always welcome to stay home and accommodations will be made for them to feel at home. My house was always open for people to stay in it and I love nothing more than to treat my guests as part of my family, as well as receiving this kind of treatment back.

Couchsurfing is that to me, but in a global scale and with strangers who can truly trust others and engage in the most human of relationships: hospitality that grows into friendship.
