About Me

I'm a 28-year-old English-Spanish teacher and translator currently living and working in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm easy-going, and a bit introverted but I'm always looking for new experiences and making new friends. My dream has always been travelling around the world and I'm planning to go to the UK in July/August 2015.

I've been trying to learn to dance tango but....although I've been taking classes for a year and a half, I'm far from being a skilled dancer!
*_*

I like learning languages. I'd love to be able to be fluent in Japanese and French, but my skills are rusty and I can barely say a word. I know, I should study more...or even better, I should visit France and Japan.

I'm a bit of a geek: I like technology, science fiction, Doctor Who...If I had the chance, I would definitely buy a robot! lol

A couple of years ago I started doing yoga and it's one of the most rewarding activities I do. Whenever I can I go to a Yoga class because it helps me to switch off. I like silence: I like being just with myself and listening to my mind.
So far my classes have all been in Spanish but I'd love to do Yoga in a foreign language!

I'm also taking swimming classes. I started swimming when I was 25 (before that I would panic at the mere idea of going to a swimming pool!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't had any Couch surfing experience yet, but the idea of being able to meet people and to really live the culture from the inside is fascinating.
I said above that I've always dreamt of travelling around the world, but I don't think that doing it by hopscotching from one hotel to another one or by only visiting tourist destinations enables you to really live a culture.
