Overview
About Me
If I had to define myself in one word, I would say that I am curious.
I feel an insatiable curiosity for people, history, places, music, languages, cultures...
I was born in Argentina, moved to Spain when I was 12 and then once again to southern France when I was 23. And I sort of like being a mixture of cultures. It's a lot of fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of mind told me that hosting couchsurfers had helped him be in touch with a lot of new people with different parts of the world with different perspectives - and I jumped at the opportunity.
Interests
I like learning languages a lot, especially as a gate to understanding a culture (for example, I started learning Italian by translating songs).
I really love music - I am avid listener of music and always wanting to discover something new. On the other hand, I am very bad playing music. Let me tell you a small secret: I always dreamed of being a good musician...
And I also love cuisine (both cooking and eating!).
And to mix it all, I love to find out about languages, music and cuisine from all around the world!
Other interests:
-Improvisation theatre - started a while ago and loving it!
-The beach and water sports
- theater
- photography
- music
- languages
- science
- beaches
- learning new things
- improvisation
- foreign languages
- curiosity
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music: anything from Tuvan throat singing to tango, including rock, pop, classical music, reggae, singers songwriters... and I'm especially eager to know more!
The same applies to literature: there is always something new to discover!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow, this is a difficult question...
Some ideas:
-I did a 32 hour train trip while in Russia (from Moscow to Ekaterimburg) - and loved every minute of it!
-I lost 30 kgs of weight during 2016 (and I'm planning to write a blog about it sometime).
Teach, Learn, Share
There is always a ton of interesting things to learn.
As Richard Saul Wurman once said: "Instead of offering you my knowledge, I offer you my ignorance - which gives me an unlimited repertoire."
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my curiosity and stories from my life experience.
In a more practical, worldly level, I love cooking (and if you are interested- I have some secret recipes up my sleeve for when you are on a diet).
I am also good at organizing things - especially "gourmet picnics".
