ABOUT ME

The person I was five years ago is the same person you will meet today but improved. I am easy going and friendly, very open minded and full of stories. I have traveled around the world just by coincidence and for decisions I make in this short life. I was born in Colombia but became an American, specially after I joined the United States armed forces. I lived in Florida for a while, but my home is in Colorado. Yes I deployed to crazy countries and other not so crazy but beautiful like Japan. I lived there for nearly two years, I worked really really hard, but I also had a lot of fun. Right now I live in Freiburg Germany, I am a student here trying to complete a masters degree in renewable energy management. However I like to see new places and new faces. Once one starts traveling to different countries around the world it’s just amazing how one can learn about life, culture and people. I hope god gives me the chance to continue doing that.

PHILOSOPHY

life is really short and we need to make the best out of it. Sometimes it seems hard to do something, but nothing is hard once we are able to make decisions, and after we do this, life can turn around good or bad, but don’t be afraid. In good faith everything will be okay. One day we could be poor and the next we could be millionaires or the other way around, but whatever it is, we are not here for a very long time and specially because we are not young forever, so I believe we must enjoy and do the best we can do while we still can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven’t used this service much but if I do I am willing to share my spaces and make friends. I hope I can count with people if I am ever in need advise or direction in new cities. It’s just really hard when the language is completely different and sometimes we don’t know how safe it is. It’s nice when you find local people to make friends and that can take you around.

I am trying to see how this site works. During my travels I met some really cool people and they kept telling me add couch surfing. So here I am.

my favorite movie is brave heart, its has many morals, romance, valor, love, fellowship, courage, honor. the music varies constantly but I grew up around rock and rock bands like Metallica, Iron maiden, Megadeth, Blink 182. And I enjoy reading books of self improvement and business in general.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am able to teach some spanish and some dancing and share some of the experiences I had with the military and the places I have been. I really want to learn other cultures and places, the way people live in other countries. What are the local bars and the cool people in town. I like lions!
