About Me

Well, um where should I start to explain myself? Haha. I started love to travel since 2011. Before that I am just an ordinary homeboy. After I enter to university, I met a lot new friends from all over Indonesia and it opens my eyes. And I started to explore Java, Bali, Flores, love to hike a mountain and meet new friends from all over the world.

For me traveling is such an activity to find your truly-self. Not just enjoying the trip, but also you got a priceless experience. For example, when you meet the locals and speak about multicultural things, you know how they live, you learn from it, you share what you have, and many positive things to give and get.

Also I do make a travel vlog on YouTube everywhere I go. I just started tho, so I still have a few vlog. If you interested, let's traveling together and make some vlog! Go to my channel to check it out www.youtube.com/alekkurniawan

I can't wait to meet you, we could share everything, we could learn everything, and let's be friend!

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh a lot to tell.

Basically I love all genre of music. Used to I was a Metal/Screamo band vocalist but magically I can't play any instruments! Oh man sorry. So please teach me some if you could haha.

For movies too, I love all genre of any movies. But the most, I love action and romantic movies lol. To be honest I watch a lot of Japanese movies. And yeah anime. I love to watch it, my favorite one is One Piece. Do you have any idea what I am talking about?

Books? For now I am enjoying to read -not so heavy- book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a hitchhiked in Japan!! About 344 Km and just 3 cars. Also I did an urban camping in Japan. I survived in an expensive country with a low budget.

Also I always write my travelling experience on my personal blog, if you are interest please read it on www.journeyofalek.com. I write it in Bahasa Indonesia btw.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach; I could teach you Bahasa Indonesia if you are interest! Bahasa Indonesia is soooooo simple. No tenses and easy to understand ;)
Learn; Also I want to learn new languages and I want to learn how to play instrument of music...
