About Me
Hey ho couchsurfers!
My name is Aleksandra (just call me Aleks though!) and I'm originally from Poland. Currently a 2nd year student at the University of Groningen in Netherlands, I am studying European Languages and Cultures (I do Italian, French and European Literature).
I am an open-minded, approachable, hospitable and friendly person. I think my interests and tastes are quite varied, and I'm also always more than happy to discover different cultures, points of view, music, etc. so I'm sure we'll get along :)
I've been a member of couchsurfing for a few years, but never actually used it, hence the lack of references! But it's about time to fill those out...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a student in Netherlands, I would like to take the opportunity of being in the heart of Europe to travel as much as possible in the neighbouring countries! But hey, aren't all student always broke? ^.^'
Other than $$$, I love to meet new people and discover unknown cities through the eyes of the locals! Because what better way to discover a new place, then with the guidance of those who are most passionate about it?
In return, I'd like to offer the same hospitality and guidance in a new city... Wherever in the world I am at the time :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just to enhance how much of a theatre-lover I am, in 2014-2015 I worked at the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, as an intern in their music department! Woop woop once in a life-time experience!
On a travelling note, when 12 years old I moved away from Poland along with my family to live in Cork, Ireland. This is when I started travelling. Dublin, France, UK and others followed not too long after :)
So... That's two amazing things I've done for you!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, Polish, French, Italian- or if you already know them, we can simply just practice.
I also play piano and some basic guitar- if you're into creating music, I'd be happy to share what I know!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a comfortable bed and the full sleeping ''equipment''. I also have a blow-up mattress, if couch isn't big enough :) I am up for showing around the city and its' surroundings, cooking
