Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got many positive feedback about Couchsurfing from my friends who were travelling around the world and met a lot of nice people. So I wanted to try it out and now I am offering a nice place to stay for a couple of days while travelling through Switzerland or Europe.

Interests

I am very interested in sports especially football/soccer, formula 1 and all kind of winter-sports. What I really love is cross-country skiing , especially when the sun is shining and you feel like you're in a winter wonderland. In addition I participate in some biathlon events/courses to experience this fascinating sport.

Beside that I am interested in meeting new people, exploring new countries and cultures to discover beautiful places in hope to find out more about life.

Of course you have to spend some significant time at work during the week, but instead of spending the night in front of the TV (which can be really relaxed sometimes) I enjoy movies in the cinema or meeting my friends and colleagues for dinner or some drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Nearly everthing e.g. Metal, Pop, House, Classic, etc.
Movies: I have seen many movies and it is hard to name a favorite but mostly I like epic movies and great thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My 3 months assignment in Southern California where I travelled through California, Nevada and Arizona. I really experienced the American way of life and especially why there is such a thing as "California Dreaming".

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences while living in different countries and how it is to live in the German and Swiss culture as well as Pros/Cons compared to other cultures. Furthermore I can tell you how it is to work in a international company and international environment, etc.
