About Me

I am friendly, polite and open-minded guy, with a energetic and adventurous spirit. I am curious about learning and experiencing new things in my life. That pleasure I am able to find in people all around the world, as meeting and really getting to know someone is always what makes me excited and motivated :)
I don't think that travelling is a hobby. For me it's a way of living and that is why I am so passionate about it. Discovering and exploring different and new people is truly the best way of getting to know ourselves. So can't wait to meet you :)

I am a university student. I study Political Science at University of Banja Luka. Although, I want to get classical theoretical knowledge related to this topic, I found a way of acting in community on my way. Activism is my another love :) I mainly focus on peacebuilding, anti-discrimination, human rights, as well as, minorities such as LGBT and women rights. Besides that, I like being physical active, enjoying in nature, but also hanging with other people, watching movies (I would call myself cinephile :D ), experience art... And mostly travelling or planning a new one. It is the secret of my energy :)

"The love of one’s country is a splendid thing. But why should love stop at the border?" Pablo Casals

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I consider Couchsurfing as one of the best ways of travelling, and besides that, as a way of learning. Travelling and visiting is not only tourstic places, monuments etc. It is learning about yourself and others, about diversity. And the best way to learn is from local people, who know how some towns, places breathe and what makes them special. I want to share, because in sharing is the point where we become rich.

Interests

I strongly stand for what is the concept of individuality for each person. I believe in the uniqueness of every individual. I love being physically active and doing yoga and meditating. I am a vegetarian and my family offers a foster home for street animals we find on the street until they get adopted, even only one dog is ours :)
I also like hitchhiking and I am kind of person who finds it hard to stick to one place for a long time, so I always seek for new adventures and great experiences in my life. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

If your travelling route includes my country, I can show you how local people think and what do they do, our culture, and suggest you places you should visit while you are here. Because I travel a lot through my country, I could also try to arrange you accomodation for some other cities. and the best, cheapest way how to get there. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I visited many places, but it is never is enough. I would like to share whatever my hosts are interested in. It can be about my culture (cuisine, way of living, thinking, tradition) or my opinion and experiences about other places I've visited. And I can always bring some stuff from my country, which could be enjoyable for my hosts. :)
