Hi surfers! My name is Aleksander and I am 20 years old finance student. I was born and grew up in the capital of Poland, but I chose to study abroad, to be more accurate, second largest city in Denmark - Aarhus. My dream is to visit every place in the world and I hope you will help me with it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned above I would like to travel the whole world. Unfortunately, student's budget is not big enough to do it during my studies, so I found Couchsurfing and realized my dreams can come true in the near future. Moreover, I believe every person has its own amazing story to share, so I am always glad when I can hear something from my host and tell you about one of my adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

When I was younger I used to listen to some rock bands, mostly what my parents showed me, for example, AC/DC, Nirvana. In high school, I started to listen to polish rap music and later to rap music from the US. Right now I really enjoy listening to Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, Mac Miller, Vince Staples and J Cole. I always like to go down memory lane to my parents' bands, but I am fond of younger groups like Arctic Monkeys, especially their first album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not"
When it comes to movies I always appreciate blockbusters like "Star Wars", "Lord of the rings" and "Harry Potter". One of my favorite titles are: "Forrest Gump", "Fight Club", "Seven", "The Shawshank Redemption" and also movie connected to my studies field "The Big Short".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer, with my friends, I flew to Norway to see one of the coolest places on earth - the fjords. The main idea of the trip was to hike around the Hardanger Fjord and see "Troltunga" at the end. After few days of hiking, we decided to hitchhike instead and it turned out to be a great experience as well. You can see some photos from Norway above, that was a great adventure.

I am ready to tell you a lot about me and to hear some inspiring stories. I am up for a beer or two, of course, it is on me :) I am an open minded person so if you come up with something interesting, I would be more than happy to do it.
