About Me
(It is my first time couchsurfing, but not the first time living with others)
Hi, I'm Aleksander/Alek (Alexander/Alec). I'm Polish and currently a first-year student of medicine in Bologna at Unibo.
I think I'm a pretty chill guy, who needs a place to stay for some time and doesn't want to bother anyone with his presence, other than during a lively discussion about random topics like life, food, places, music, culture and everything else I randomly stumbled upon while scrolling through Wikipedia. I also work as a private IB tutor, so hmu if you're struggling with your DP.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking for a place to stay for some time, as I'm beginning my university education in Bologna, and couchsurfing was recommended to me by my friends as a good option to "acclimatize" myself in a new country and a new environment (and potentially make new friends), while I'll be looking for something more permanent (which unfortunately now doesn't seem to be available, so if you know someplace me and my Polish friends could rent, then you know where to contact me).

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite film is Otto e Mezzo by F.Fellini (how fitting). Other then that I know a lot of Polish films that I could recommend to anybody to watch.
As for music I listen to everything, from opera to synthpop, but probably most of all of music of Latin America (I performed a lot in Spanish when I was younger).
In terms of books I read everything when I have the time to do so and have collected a whole library back at home in Koszalin, Poland.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 15 or so I mistakenly entered a minefield on the Croatian-Bosnian border with my friend of 6 years and didn't realize it until we noticed a sign in three languages with an inscription in bold "MINES". But we survived :))
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always willing to learn, teach and share all the same. Whether it comes to languages, sciences, arts, skills, burdens, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, space, some time, the skills I have, I can do tutoring (I can also cook a little, and do a some housework, walk a dog too, as I actually have one at home), lots of stories, my time. About other things or requirements and strictly rent-related things I prefer to talk privately.
