Hello!

My name is Aleksander and currently I am doing a Masters in Political Theory at the University of Amsterdam. I am hoping to help someone out in my free time while I am in Amsterdam and get better acquainted with the city and people in the process.

As a person I am very open, friendly, and always happy to help anyone who needs it.

In terms of origins I am very international and home for me is where family and friends are.

Otherwise I am a Russian, who was born in Poland, raised in Malta, educated in Berlin, and just graduated from Glasgow in Scotland.

In terms of hobbies I like to travel unconventionally, read and watch historical/scientific documentaries, and dance. I love a good meal and can cook well myself and I thoroughly enjoy a hearty chat over dinner or a good drink.

I have an extraordinary fascination with new and especially less explored locations. For every city and town I have visited I have always gone out of my way to interact with locals and get a better feel of what this new place is like. I enjoy learning about the history and culture of a particular place and listening to stories from locals.
