Overview
About Me
Hi there! I'm Ola, 19 years old student from Cracow, Poland. I'm about to start studying at the University this year so I want to make this holiday as unforgettable as I can! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and share my experience with others. I want to meet new people, see new places, learn stuff, live the life!
Interests
I'm really keen on art and literature. There's no escape for my friends and family from listening about history of art (And let me remind you - I live in Cracow, there is art in every corner of the city) or famous writers or, even worse for them, poetry. But don't worry - I respect others opinions and interests and I'm totally cool with the fact that somebody doesn't care about art. When I see someone's tired, I simply shut up. I swear!
I also do a lot of horse riding. I draw and paint, no matter how poor are the effects. I pretend I can sing while cleaning my room.
Music, Movies, and Books
music:
woah there! indie, classical, 60s, folk. Everything from the Beatles to Tom Rosenthal.
movies:
Alejandro Iñaritu's movies. Dead Poets Society. Before sunshine. (Plenty of other films I can't remember right now :D)
books:
I read a lot. I adore Dostoyevsky and Russian literature on the whole; I am in love with Polish poets. I do read modern literature too, but I prefer classics. Yeah, boring, I know! <3
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been backpacking through Bieszczady Mountains with my friends. Only us, our sleeping bags and an ukulele. And many, many amazing people on the road!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you basic Polish words and a little bit of Polish sign language too! If you want, I can tell you a lot about our art and culture; including cooking of course.
