I‘m a 23 year old student of English living in Germany and I work as a part-time production manager at a cultural venue. In my free time I play music, sing or draw (awfully). I’m a sucker for sitcoms and might quote them way too often. I can be spontaneous but also love planning things out. I’m a night owl against my will. I appreciate humour and earnestness most in people.

A friend recommended it to me as a way to meet new people when travelling. She’s made positive experiences so far so I thought I’d give it a try.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music, from riot grrl, grunge, indie to rap, spoken word and pop. My favourite artists atm are Halsey, Amy Winehouse, Kae Tempest, Mac Miller, boa, WILLOW, Her‘s, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles.
I used to read a lot as a child, but now that I’m writing my bachelor thesis I’m only reading stuff that’s relevant for my paper (decolonialisation, intersectionality and Nigerian fiction).

I moved to another country as a teen and finished my high school education there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love talking about absolutely anything over a glass of wine. I’m always keen to learn new things and I was told that I’m a good listener. I like walking and museum or gallery hopping. I feel comfortable in silence but I can get very chatty when you get to know me better.
