Hi, I am a law student at Dundee University (in Scotland). Originally from Riga, Latvia. I`ve been living in the UK for the last 3 years. I am really into sports, doing gym and playing on the university badminton team. Working part-time to provide myself and spend my savings on meeting friends, travelling to different cities, going to competitions and going out :) I am very sociable and have a great sense of humor (see my trip advisor recommendations). I have many friends coming from all over the world but I haven`t travelled much at all, so it is about a time to fix this :) I would love to learn more about different parts of the world, learn foreign languages and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

As for music,my taste is extremely diverse (love hip hop, 80s-90s music, alternative rock,indie) . Some of my absolute favourites are : Massive Attack, Muse, Smiths, U2, Moby, Michael Jackson, A-ha,Queen. But being an absolute music addict , I can listen to French Mylene Farmer, Russian and Japanese pop on the same day. Good melody and rhythm is what matters,right? ;)
I guess it is similar with the movies, I can enjoy any genre but some of my favourites here are: Gangs of New York, The Beach, Seven Pounds, The Fight Club, Now you see me and others :)
Books-hmm, I used to love some classics in the high school, I read Haruki Murakami and some inspirational stuff from Dan Millman but honestly, I read so much on law for my studies during the year and all the books I ordered for leisure reading are always there waiting for me!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak Russian, Latvian and English, all fluent. I am passionate about languages, so you`d probably find me learning them if I had more time outside university. I`ve been playing badminton for 9 years now and I am a captain of the university team, so if you want to master some,I can teach you,I guess :D Apart from these uncommon skills, I can only offer you a good company for travelling, socialising, going out and having a good laugh :)
