About Me

I moved out from Warsaw and I'm starting to be digital nomad, so currently i don't have place to host someone.

Hi guys!

I'm open-minded person who love to explore new cultures, traditions and meet new people. I can spend hours talking about travels and cultures! And i would love to learn more about culture in your country! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When i was in Iran, i had amazing experiences because of couchsurfing! I met amazing people and their familoes, we cooked together, they showed me their cities, took me for family meetings, i met nomadic tribe thanks to CS as well. So basically i am on couchsurfing because it's amazing experience and great possibility to meet great people! :)

Interests

I'm interested in foreign cultures, theater, literature, photography, indian cinematography, postcrossing (I have been colletcting postcard since I was child). Fun fact, i sold some part of my collection to go to a scholarship to Indonesia for a year :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading! Especially non fiction books, travel books but also English XIX century classic novels - I adore "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte and "The picture of Dorian Gray" written by Oscar Wilde.
I'm a big fan of Southamerican and Spanish literature. I love Zafon's, Aleende's, Llosa's, Marquez's books. They are great! :)

Movies... I have problem with choosing my favourite movies. I love to discover movies from all over the world. Maybe you can recommend me sth from your country?

Every world cinematography offers sth interesting. I like Nadine Labaki movies ("Caramel" and "Where do we go now?), films directed by Emir Kusturica (the best one - "Time of the Gypsies"). "Life is beautiful", "Into the Wild", some Bengali and Hindi movies and many many more. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Sumbing volcano in Indonesia. It wasn't the heighest mountain/volcano i climbed, but that journey will stay in my mind forever. We were climbing during heavy rain, at really slippery ground, we lost each other for few hours, but we make it. At the view from the peak was amazing!

Field research at Polish villages. I live in Poland almost all my life, but never before i had knocked to random houses and asked people about their stories, life and the way they see the world, past and their experiences. My anthropological studies and field researchers changed my life.

Experience Toraja funeral in the village at Flores, Indonesia.
