Overview
About Me
My name is Aleksandra, living and raised around the world and born in Lithuania
I'm in my last year at university studying communications, media and society
I'm also a sports society president at uni.
I'm very likely to make you laugh. A lot.
My grandfather told me, "I have never met a person like you in my life, leave you alone and you come back with company, leave you in a full room of enemies you will make friends" - and that's the best compliment I have received in my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now, I know I have no references, but it's due to the fact I've never did couch surfing before. Always stayed in hotels and found it to be too boring.
I love meeting new people and making lifelong friends, don't know a better way of doing it than actually staying with them!
One time I met backpackers whilst waiting for a bus to get home at 11pm and found out they didn't have where to stay so I've offered to stay at my place.
Same happened to me once, I was travelling around one country and missed bus to get back to my city, lovely family invited to stay at their house and I'm going to be forever thankful!
This is as far as my experience with couchsurfing goes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am TV series junkie - you name it, I know it, if you'll be rude I'll say all the spoilers.
Movies - any really, have few favourites but don't mind any genres.
Books - I read classical English and American literature. Including Huxley, Poe, Orwell, Wilde, etc.
Music - I sing jazzy tunes, listen to everything in a row.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Had my first trip alone at 9 years old.
Teach, Learn, Share
- I am fluent in Lithuanian, Russian and English, with a brief understanding of some other languages, if you want to practice I'm here for you!
- I studied quantum physics and now I'm doing a degree in international communications, media and society (including video games) so I'm sure we will find something to talk about.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- I can't cook to save my life, but always up to explore new cultures and will happily try your cuisine.
On the other hand if you know a killer takeout or pizza place I'll gladly treat you to that! I'll throw in a couple of drinks too if you're cool
- Depending where I am traveling from, I could bring you a souvenir or something specific for your collection?
- I'm told I'm pretty awesome to be around with and if we do end up going out id probably out drink you too. You know Eastern Europeans and stuff.
- I've been to around 100 countries, so hey, if you wanna hear a story or 20 holla at me.
- I will love your pets. Any.
