About Me

Hello, everyone! :) I'm Aleksandra, a student-girl from Serbia. I got a great love for my country, and a huge respect to other countries, cultures and people, so, one of my main goals in life is to travel as much as I can. I am a bit nerdy, but I know one can't learn everything from books :) I am talkative and easy-going, find almost all persons interesting in their own way, and I really learned something from every person I've met. People often say I'm too polite and nice, but I can't help myself, that is just who I am. :) Family, friends, nature, animals, books and music are the source of my energy, but, on the other hand, I really enjoy partying and adrenaline rush from time to time. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't had a chance to travel a lot until now, and I actually didn't know many things about couchsurfing.com. But, this summer (2015.), I will travel the Europe using interrail ticket, and my friends, also the travelers, told me about the idea. I think it is genius! My interrail friend-travelers and I will spend no more then three days in every city, so we think couchsurfing is the best way to really meet the country, the locals and customs. Actually, for three days spent, maybe it is the only way!

Interests

I love science, pharmacology, children psychology, meeting new people, languages, nature, music, animals... Also, I just enjoy swimming (maybe because I don't like to run, and want to be fit :)). I live in a town located at the mountain, so skiing is also my thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to single out any, there are better ones, and there are not so good ones, but you can learn something from every book, and time is never wasted. But, let say that my favorite is "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame" (Victor Hugo), my favorite music is Serbian traditional and favorite movie "The Godfather".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Singing solo in front of the lot of people, although I don't like public performances. :)
