About Me

I was born and raised in Estonia (a small Baltic country in Europe) but all my family members are Russian so I am as well. My family moved to Estonia while it was still a part of the Soviet Union and once it collapsed they just stayed there.
This year I started a new chapter in my life by moving from Estonia to The Netherlands to study Tourism Management. From now on I am on my own and am ready and eager to explore what this world can give me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am passionate about different cultures and countries, how people live, what they do and what they value in life. Therefore, I love travelling and want to visit the most places. In my opinion, staying at local people's places or simply meeting up with them and talking will give me the insight to everything that place has to offer and ensures the most authentic experience one can get.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to music very much and spend quite some time doing it. I do not have a particular genre I like the most but I do enjoy some pop, rap, RnB and sometimes fell like listening to some older songs.
I like both movies that make you think and leave you with confusing mind at the end and comedies. I like series like Peaky Blinders, The Crown, Mr.Robot and cartoons like Bob's Burgers and Family Guy. I also love vines and quote them from time to time :)
I am not much of a reader but like detective stories by Jo Nesbo.

Teach, Learn, Share

I had experience in international projects during studying at school when besides doing the project itself I had an opportunity to host and then live for a week with people of different backgrounds as a part of Erasmus+ several times and that was what made me so curious about traveling

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to talk and exchange cultures and spend some quality time together.
I can cook some traditional food if you like.
