About Me

Hello! I'm Aleksandra but definitely prefer Ola - in Poland it's a short form of my name.
Anyways, I'm a 23 year old girl from Poland and I've been on couchsurfing since 2015 so it's been a long time now :) I'm currently living in Dublin (moved in September '19) and I work as an IT Consultant.

During my uni I was an active member of AIESEC but then, well life happened, lots of travels and I needed to start earning a life finally.

I'm not gonna be original here when I'm gonna say that I'm curious about different cultures and love traveling through couchsurfing as it helps me to get to know the country and the people that live in it better but it's true ;)

Together with my best friend and the best travel buddy, I could dream of, Werka (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/weronikanaklicka ) we've made our dream come true and travelled Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia last summer. Next one on the list of few months travels is South America so I'm learning Spanish as crazy ;)

If you've read my profile and want to be hosted at my apartment, please write in the request message that you agree to donating 5 euros per each couchsurfer to Dublin Simon Community - a charity fighting homelessness in Dublin. Please have the money in cash with you and leave it in the donation jar in our living room. The company I work for with match the donation. Let's make a difference together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to travel the whole world, meet various people and their cultures so I get the broader perspective on life. Having traveled with and without couchsurfing, I've come to the conclusion that the experiences that include couchsurfing, meeting locals, new people in general allow me to learn more, see different perspectives and broaden my horizons.

I like helping people as I'm an active volunteer in my city , going to the live concerts and also travelling :)
