Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe these are people who make a certain place itself; thus there is no better opportunity to explore a new city than from a local's perspective. Couchsurfing has connected me with many incredible people around the globe

Interests

I'm mostly into arts and humanities. I can talk for hours about cinema, theatre, literature (both poetry and prose), philosophy, contemporary and underground art, as well as about travel and cultural experiences. I do acting and currently learn videography/filmmaking, which has always been a dream of mine. In Tbilisi I enjoy skateboarding and contemporary ballet, learning Georgian and immersing myself into the vibrant local community. Hiking, surfing and sailing are also some great passions of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016 I spent my year abroad in the United States, at West Virginia University — and that was the most illuminating and life-changing year I've ever had. In 2018 I solo-travelled in Morocco and watched the sunrise in beautiful Sahar, side by side with the berbers. In 2021 I moved from Moscow to Vladivostok, Russia's easternmost part, and lived there for a few months, falling in love with the Sea of Japan again and again.
