About Me
ABOUT ME
Maybe I don't know exactly my place in this world. Maybe sometimes I am a little bit lost. Maybe I try to do too many things and when somebody asks me "why this one?", I can answer only "I don't know"... But it doesn't mean that I have no idea for myself, that I am dritfing throughout my life completely unwittingly. I know that I am interested in the world, the people and the life, and I am not sure what way is the best for me so I try to open many doors, don't plan everything so precisely and just live as good as I can...
PHILOSOPHY
The temporal world is not a paradise... so many people are suffering, starving, hating each other... ok, it's true, but it's not an excuse to give up. Look around you and start to improve the world from yourself, from your backyard... Maybe you will not change the world, but if you make that even one crying person will start to smile, our world for sure could become more bearable...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Now I'm travelling. I study abroad and I've got a lot of various and indefinite plans for futur. However, regardless of where I am at certain moment (visiting my hometown, studying abroad, having some work experience - no one knows where...), I am always eager to meet the travelers, offer a hot cup of tea and share with the information, experiences or try to give a piece of advice (if i have some needed knowledge).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No personal experience in hosting yet! However, I lived during one summer holiday with friends who offered hosts and I had a possibility to get to know interesting travelers. What's more, I have some friends who use this friendly network and all of them have only good memories!
Interests
I'm interested in a lot of things. In general, I can say that I'm interested in the world, in human beings. I love just going for a walk and talk or go in silence and listen the silence. I've got also more concrete hobbies as sports (handball, skiing, hiking, horse riding), reading books (which allow me to forget about real world for a moment), watching good movies (sometimes 20 times the same one), listen music (different types but I have chosen rather peaceful one, for sure not drilling a hole in one's mind:)

Music, Movies, and Books
Maybe I am not up to date, maybe I am a little bit old-fashioned... Sometimes people say that I live in other world and ask me: "how is it possible that you don't know this movie, song or person...?" Simply, it is possible:) Ok, I can admit that it's true that I can watch many times one movie e.g. "Fiddler on the roof" by Norman Jewison and have tears in my eyes each time, that I can read several times Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" and be absorbed each time with the same intensity... maybe I am sentimental but for sure not close-minded. I have always been interested in unknown things, especially if it is important for other person next to me - for other person who wants to share with me...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to some countries and I thought that I was not able to communicate in their languages. After the travel, I realized that I had met amazing people, I had had many long conversations, that I had touched upon the very interesting questions(still I cannot imagine how), that I felt the unbelievable understanding and closeness with the natives, that I had managed not only to visit some new places, but to get to know these countries and their people in more profound way... and in my opinion such feeling means that you were traveling...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn how to be more trustful person, but at the same time not naive, how to believe more in human beings, not to keep others at a distance all the time, not to suspect others only of bad intentions, but at the same time not to burn my fingers and be hurt...
