ABOUT ME

Hey there! My name's Aleksandra, I'm 27, currently living in my hometown Poznań, Poland. I'm an open-minded, cheerful and helpful person who wants to see and experience as much as possible. (As everyone) I really don't like talking about myself, so in the shortest way I could describe myself as:

- a global citizen

- a volunteer

- an idealist

- I'm also happy to call myself a marathon runner :)

兴趣

I love languages and everything that's connected to them: learning new languages, etimology, linguistics, relation between language and culture. I got my undergraduate degree in Italian Studies and MA degree inTranslation Studies (obviously translating into Italian, the most beautiful language in the world!). I hope one day I'll speak Icelandic, I really love this language!

Apart from languages, I like sport: swimming (I'm a lifeguard), running (NY Marathon still waiting for me! :) ), biking.

What else? Music, mostly rock & metal (link to my last.fm profile in "Movies, Music, Books" section).

And last but not least: philosophy, especially philosophy of language.
