About Me

I am extremely talkative: it is barely possible for me to shut my mouth, however there are times, when I enjoy complete silence. Also, I can be a good listener. I'm pretty cheerful, I laugh a lot and I am a grammar nazi.

Interests

Night walks, rainy days, long discussions about basically anything that exists, listening to sad music, inner monologues about existance, writing (as Flannery O'Connor once stated, I write because I don’t know what I think until I read what I say). I also love history, various types of art, cognitive science, every damn creepy or weird thing, theatre, neurobiology... Well, I'm just interested in everything, emphasising philosophy, psychology, politics, international relations, law, planning everything that can be planned, the very act of travelling, train rides, oxford comma and drawing weird figures. And I like to go out a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

LOTR, the Godfather, Before Sunrise, Beyond the Sea, K-PAX... I would most certainly call them my favourite movies. I also love Woody Allen's pieces: especially Matchpoint, Scoop, Magic in the Moonlight, Blue Jasmine and Annie Hall, and Wes Anderson's ones: The Grand Budapest Hotel or Moonrise Kingdom. When it comes to tv shows I am a huge fan of Twin Peaks, House of Cards, and Suits.

It is extremely hard for me to mention all the bands that I like, because I love almost every piece of music that I start to listen to - especially when it is depressing and full of sadness - but now I am continously listening to Hozier, ZAZ, Damien Rice and Bob Dylan.

I am also a bibliophile and I maniacally collect books: there is no single room in my apartament without few shelves, and I love the whole idea of what a book is. However - although there are moments when I would like to say that every author is my favourite and every book is the greatest (excluding any piece of Henry Sienkiewicz, whom I will hate till the end of my days) - there is only one Milan Kundera, and only one Unbearable Lightness of Being, which most certainly is the best book ever written - naming things that are usually seen as unnameable.
