About Me

26 years old design student from Finland. I'm studying furniture design in Finland, but at this very moment I'm having my Erasmus Exchange and I'm studying product design in Milan.

And as a stereotypic Finnish person I have no idea how to make a praising and interesting text about myself. Therefore I make a list:

-Beer is always good, especially craft beers!
-I'm really good at finding amazingly weird cheap stuff at flea markets. My personal favorite is a miniature Millenium Falcon. There's actually small Han Solo and Chewbacca inside!
-I love movies. I used to work in National Audiovisual Archive of Finland where I started to watch classic films and haven't stop since.
- Music festivals are good! I've only been in Finnish music festivals but I'd like to try one abroad.
-Design is a kind of way of living for me. If I see a beautiful or interesting looking chair somewhere, I usually turn it upside down and try to understand how it is done.
-Museums are awesome.
-Clubbing is awesome.
-Small pubs with intimate athmosphere are awesome.
-Eating is awesome.
-Travelling is awesome. (I just travelled around Central Europe by train all by myself for 3 weeks before I ended up to Milan)
-Drinking coffee is awesome. ( I also like tea)
-I hate raisins.
-Open minded and easygoing.
-British humor is something I'm quite fond of. Monty Python, Little Britain and Smack the Pony are top rated.
-Couldn't live without sarcasm.

I'm also quite easy to handle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm travelling abroad I always want to meet new people and get to know with locals. They always know what's the best in their home city and what makes the place so special! I also presume the people on Couchsurfing are openminded and nice, otherwise they wouldn't be openly meeting new people online and ask them to hang out with. People are helping strangers and making new friends. That is human nature at it's finest!

An also, of course, usually random meetings give the best stories!
