About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, make new friends and learn from everyone and everywhere.

ABOUT ME

I'm very open and happy to meet new people.
Lover of the nature and beautiful and calm places. But I'm also a fan of visiting rushing cities.
I love traveling and I try to know and visit the most I can... even if sometimes it makes me be like crazy. But I also love so much to sit down and enjoy a meal or an icecream watching the local people pass by and the sounds of each place. If I got enough time and the chance of getting to know local people. It's just a great gift! Learning new words or phrases, discovering new cultures, going to the places where locals go and see how they behave, knowing the history of the people and the place as well as anecdotes... It's just great!
I'm passionate of learning new languages or at least some words or phrases and discovering new cultures.
I'm always carrying my camcorder and my photo camera because I like to keep those memories and go back in time once the trip is finished.
I also enjoy eating local food and drinking local spirits and drinks.

I'm Mexican and very proud of it, so if you want to know anything about my country I will try to teach you and show you the most I can from it. Even if I'm not living in Mexico.

PHILOSOPHY

We have to enjoy life because we have only one... and stop thinking on what others may think about us... to be really authentic. And be happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine told me about this place and it sounded very nice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have the chance to have many friends from many places all around the world and when they pass by the place I live and if they want to stay by, they stay at my place.

When I was in College I used to go to the international exchange department to ask for the new students arriving from other parts of the world and very offently a couple of them stayed at my place and sometimes for a couple of months.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, from Britney Spears to regional music of different parts of the world. I enjoy a nice bossa nova or a fantastic Turkish song... Oh! I love Turkish and Greek music.
I like Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Shakira, David Guetta, Buddha Bar collections, Inna, Kylie Minogue, Tarkan, Sakis Rouvas, etc.

I love books about history... I really travel in time everytime I open a good book telling the history of any place.

I like to go to the movies and watch a nice film. I love zombies films... also the ones that take you back in time. I love sci-fi, I love to see how the Earth is destroyed (obviously just because I know it's fake). Also enjoy a good romantic film and the ones that show you different places of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Explore under the Ocean. Releasing turtles in the Ocean. Jumping off the bungy.

Teach, Learn, Share

- In Geneva when arriving by plane and before you leave the baggage claim area at the airport, there's a machine to have 80 minutes of free transportation around Geneva. Take it!
- If you are not from Europe you must not know about LIDL stores. It's a place to go shopping when your budget is not very big. You can find all kinds of food and drinks (yeah, also beers, wines and spirits) much cheaper than the rest of the stores. Make a research to see if the city you are visiting has any and where.
- To make alcoholic gummy bears/Haribo you need to place these candies in a bowl and cover them with any spirit you like. Me personally like with vodka. And leave them in swimming for around an hour or a bit more until all the alcohol is absorbed.
