I'm a hydrobiologist and a high school teacher for higher level biology. I love to travel, nature, spending time with friends and my cat. Some would say I'm quite sociable for a Latvian but I also enjoy my alone time : )

I mostly read non-fiction compared to fiction, but Kurt Vonnegut and Robert Sapolsky must be my favorite authors.
