COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was in CS since 3-4 years but never get to involved. After I submitted my PhD thesis I decided to get involved and hosted people since then. I had some awesome experience and get to know people that are just amazing.

Interessi

Travelling, Hiking, Surfing (real waves), some tech-nerdish stuff (not so much please), reading, talking about ideas and getting creative on that, since a couple of years a quite nerdish interest on the social/political/economic condition of Europe.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Second last day in Puertorico. I was in Vieques (precisely in the Sun Bay), one of the Spanish Virgin Islands. Now, use one minute to draw in your mind an image of the following:

- A small bay surrounded by the warm Caribbean Sea;
- Two palms;
- An hammock;
- Fifteen meters from the sea;
- The sound of the waves crashing on the litoral;
- The bright full moon visible through the palms;
- Three shooting stars;
- A burning goblet of fire rising on the sea;

Et voilà, you have just draw a near-perfection painting in which I had the tremendously lucky to be in!
