About Me
Originally I'm from a small town in Siberia - east part of Russia (yes, there are bears in Russia and I even played with a baby bear once). I studied linguistics and currently work as an academic director in a language school.
Recently I've discovered that you don't have to be super rich in order to travel and meet really cool people. I've lived with locals in India for 6 months, travelled from Moscow to Istambul (8,000 km in 3 months) by hitchhiking and not going to stop :)
I find it a bit weird to describe my personality so just talk to me and you will have your own impression :) I can only say that I am very flexible and easy to get alone with anybody :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because what can be better than exploring a country with locals? :) I totally support the initial aim of couchsearfing - to share your values and perspectives, help people from different countries to explore the world without money involved. I've had wide experience in travelling together with my friends using their couchsurfing profiles so as a result I don't have many refferences.
Interests
I'm greatly interested in sharing the culture of a country I'm visiting with locals, see the things from different views and just have a nice time together :) I'm an art-lover fond of modern art of all kinds and shapes especially media art like cinematography and phothography. I play the ukulele but not so well so you better not hear it :D And of course I truly enjoy having long talks with people I've just met feeling as if we've known each other all our lives :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As I already mentioned my friend and I hitchhiked from Moscow to Istambul in 3 months using couchsearfing only. I still can't believe how many great people we've met on such a long way! I'm extremely thankful for this opportunity, this trip made me believe that the world is full of kind poeple and too many stereotypes that are false.
