Hello everyone! :)
My name´s Alena and I am a 23 years old travel enthusiast and a recent tourism management graduate. I´ve been living in Aalborg for the past three years and my current mission is to finally learn Danish. As I have recently found out, that I can´t really use my tourism degree in Denmark (especially Aalborg), I decided to take a language course and start another degree in Danish - and this time I chose a "pedagog education" and want to focus on special pedagogy in the future.
Before Denmark, I used to live in Ireland, where I worked on a farm with horses and then I moved to the Netherlands for a year and was an au-pair there.
I love travelling and getting to know new cultures and people, which is also why I am on couchsurfing. I also like all kinds of sports and I am always up for trying new ones - I like running, cycling, rockclimbing, snowboarding, horseriding...recently I also started doing some yoga and became addicted to it quite quickly :)
Besides sports and travelling I also like to read a lot and to learn new languages (although I am not sure, if will be ever able to master Danish :D).
I´m a vegan myself and I like cooking and trying out different recipes, so you can expect a lot of fruit and vegetable if I host you at my place.

兴趣

All kinds of sport ( horseriding, rockclimbing, cycling, running..), reading, learning new languages, travelling...and of course meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I am also one of these people who just need to keep themselves busy all the time :)

Nirvana, Beatles, The Doors, 80s and 90s music ...I am pretty much able to listen to anything, huge fan of Harry Potter books, Jack Kerouac, John Krakauer, Into the wild...
...also, after I have seen the Bohemian Rhapsody movie, I became addicted to Queen and their music and that´s also why I want to learn to play piano again :)

Practise languages, cook some nice meals together, share stories and beers. If I am the host, can also show you the city and its surroundings.
