I´m Alena, 23 years old Student for Psychology, living in Berlin. I like being around people a lot, inviting people and going out. Im really into travelling, festivals, concerts. As a half italian I enjoy wine and good food. Recently I started doing yoga very regularly but my flatmate and dear friend encoured me to try out more unconventional things - thats why i started with a hula hoop course.. Its so much fun!

I made my first couchsurfing experience two years ago in Israel. I realized, that what makes a journey special is the experiences you make getting to know other people.
Places are so much more beautiful if see them "trough the eyes" of a local, instead of following the tourist attractions.

The Berlin techno scene has defenetly left its marks...Im really into techno but recently I'm fascinated more and more by faster stuff, like psytrance & goa.
But my taste of music is quite broad. Im also listening to hip-hop, jazz, funk and also to classic music.
I´m a huge fan of the Elena Ferrante´s tetralogy "my brilliant friend" and can´t wait until the last part will be published! Other favourits are Elif Shafak, Juli Zeh and Camus!
