About Me

Hi there! I'm a Colombian jewelry designer. I just finished two years living in San Francisco working as an Au pair, learning and improving my English skills, and of course traveling as well. I love animals in general and I have two lovely cats, so if you have a pet that's not gonna be a problem for me. After my time abroad in the US, I started gaining more and more interest in traveling, I find very interesting to meet new people and learn about their culture and why not a few words in a new language :). I consider myself a city and nature person, all depending on the circumstances, I enjoy wandering around cities and admiring the beautiful and unique architecture each city has, but I also enjoy a good hike in nature especially if it's near the ocean, I love the ocean.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in CS cause I want to have a cultural exchange while traveling and share experiences with locals from the cities where I'm gonna stay. After living abroad for two years, I really appreciate the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and from different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Rock music in general and most of its subgenres. Some of my favorites are The Strokes, The Kooks, Rise against, New Order, Queen, Joy Division, Talking heads, etc, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived abroad in the US for 2 years as an Au pair, it was such an amazing experience, definitely, a life-changing decision. During these two years, I met great friends from all over the world, I improved my level of English, and traveled as much as I could from beautiful California to the Niagara Falls. It was an incredible adventure, even though I had challenging moments of course, but I feel very happy and grateful I experienced these. One of the highlights for me was the cultural exchange I had with awesome people!!!

Teach, Learn, Share
