ABOUT ME

aleksandra- my full name, i quite like it, don't call me alex though! ola- in short, i have no clue why, that's the way this usual-unusual polish name abbriviates.

i'm usually quite calm, though sometimes i can get into hyperactive modes, which come quite spontanously, i am not sure why and where from, but usually it means that im supper happy as well.

i like trying, chalenging and discovering. i like being optymistic too and i hate not being like that.

i'm looking for things that can activate the lazy side of me and inspire the active one.

i'm a mixture of many small bits, that make me-me, but i'm still looking for something that i would devote myself to.

i like good people. they inspire.

Intereses

all forms of movement from one place to another; from hitchhiking through public transport, to planes. the last ones can be quite boring but undoubtfuly let you travel to your place of destination preety fast. living within different cultures and people. listening ( i talk sometimes too). photography. voluntary service. books ('south of the boarder, west of the sun', h. murakami, love it!). second hand clothes. dancing (with a proper amount of alcohol!:-)). islands. sunsets sunrises (although i may find hard sometimes to experience the second one, im not an early bird!). swimming in the sea. long walks with packed lunches. cycling. full english breakfast on the cold morning. late evenings. nice meals with a glass of wine (bottle..). pasta, lots of pasta, too much pasta. gnochi con pesto. eating in general:). cups of tea. my friends. music (mainly listening to the same song all over again, i find it quite hard though to talk about bands, musicians etc. but give me a tune and i may know it). environmental protection. cats. dogs. basically any kind of a fluffy animal that can handle my stroking affection.

i organized a set of workshops for italian kids with my very limited knowledge of italian and..... they enjoyed it ( at least that's what i was told).

as i am not very happy with my cooking skills I would be delighted if anyone could share with me some yuuuumy, simple and 'never goes wrong' recepie.more than that, i've got still lots to learn and want to learn lots too, so i'm preety open onto anything really.i would be happy to share a cup of tea, a glass of wine or beer and honest conversation. i can share laughter and a silly dance, a common drawing.i can teach you some polish, english and a bit of italian:-)i used to be able to stand on my head, i could teach you that too... if i still remember this incredibly useful skill.ah, and i want to get fluent in italian, yes italian! eh!
