About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Compartir y aprender y ser feliz, fazendo intercambio em Salvador, Bahia, Brasil

ABOUT ME

Born in Santiago Chile, I moved to the states at the age of 6. Chile es mia patria, mientras I speak like an american (even when I speak spanish) and have the privilege of being a United States citizen. Traveling is my passion. I am a very easy-going person that always looks on the bright side. Outside is where I feel the most comfortable, I love kayaking, surfing, hiking and especially swimming. I also love art, dance, and poetry. I study sociology, geografia, and español e português.

PHILOSOPHY

Embrace the moment, accept the past, courageously move into the future with an open heart and mind :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By sharing the love of traveling and being in the present.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned how to have an open house/heart from my cool friends in Santa Cruz, California. I knew I always was welcome there to share their good times.
I couchsurfed with my friend Julia in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2010. I was so inspired by the openness of our hosts, to share their small apartment with us.

Interests

I am interested in permacultura, social justice, folk music, nature conservation and tasting regional food!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a sea turtle laying her eggs in Nicaragua. I danced with so many blocos of drummers during Carnaval in Salvador Brasil and celebrated the beauty of life in the world's biggest popular party on the streets. I marched with over a million people in Los Angeles in support of equal rights for immigrants.
