Hello, my name is Alessandra. I come from Italy. I'm 19 years old and I was born in a small town called Brescia but now I'm working as au pair in Northern Ireland. I'm iterested to travel as much as possible and meet people that come from all part of the world. I studied Human sciences. Unfortunatly until June I can't host people at home just because I'm travelling and I'm living in a Host family and they are not available to host other people except me but when I will come back home, if someone will be In North of Italy, my door will be open :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created my profile because I'm organizing some plans for the future and during a travel the best way is find an unpretentious place and meet people. I relly love it. I think that is a comfortable and easy way to find a place to spend your time and to experience a cultural exchange. That's great :)

Interests

My hobbies are drawing, walking, cooking, visiting places, travelling, listen all kind of music, reading book, learning English and knowing different cultures :) I practice archery. It's my favourite sport. I'm calm, I love irony and food as well. It's interesting taste dishes that come from different countries. I really love it :) I love spend time in quiet places, like mountain or forest but at the same time I like visit active cities, that are rich fun and art.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love all kind of music but but I have a preference for Cuban , African, Spanish, Scottish and Irish music. I general you can find oodles of musical genres on my ipod. I love Cinema as well. One of my favourite movies is V for Vendetta and I love madly Lord of the rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Cloud Atlas, Frankenstein and Dracula. In general watching movie is my passion. My favouire italian writer is Italo Calvino. I like read Sheakespare's poems. I love English literature and my favourite book is Frankenstein.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Lampedusa 2 years ago as a volunteer. (Lampedusa is a small island not far from Africa. It's located in south of Italy. Is a small island of Sicily). I took care of sea turtles working in a special Hospital for the animals on the Island. It was great. And now I'm working in Northern Ireland. I'm really enjoing Northern Ireland :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning Riverdance. Hope to be good in the future. Maybe one day I could teach it. I can teach to draw, teach italian, teach to cook and archery if someone is interested to learn this kind of sport. I really love learn English and Spanish as much as possible but in general I'm glad to learn everything. I like share different tastes about movie, music, literature and travel as well :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

The best thing is share a culinary culture but I'm available to share al kind of tastes and obvioulsy speak about future travel. Is always awesome have someone to travel and suggested places or countries to visit.
