Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"The only real journey...would be to travel not towards new landscapes, but with new eyes, to see the universe through the eyes of another, of a hundred others, to see the hundred, understand the hundred universes that each of them can see, or can be..." (Proust). I think that Couchsurfing has the potential to make people travel for real, rather than just moving from one place to the other. Seeing things through the eyes of a local is something invaluable.
