Hi !

My name is Alessandra, you can call me Aless, I am french. I'm actually living in Lyon and I'm arriving in New Zealand at the end of november for one year. I have my Working Holiday Visa.

I can't wait to start this trip but I'm also panicked to go as far away in my own. Even if I know I will live such a great life traveling. I'm taking with me my tent and sleeping bag. I want to discover New Zealand by hitchiking and I would love to meet you throught CS.

I love cooking, making art (painting, drawing, making photos, writing), playing music (piano and ukulele). I love nature and hiking too.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm arriving in New Zealand on the 27th of november. I took a few nights in an hostel in Auckland until 1st of december. Then I would like to stay a few more days in Auckland to finish all my administrative procedures .

My plan for this trip is to let myself be driven by opportunities. First I'm thinking about hitchiking to discover the Northland. Then, some time in december I want to walk Te Araroa trail ! I never did such a wald by myself and I'm really excited about this project ! I'm thinking about doing a section from Hamilton to the south of the north island.

I can't wait to meet people there :)

Intereses

In my daily life in Lyon I enjoy making some art : drawing, painting, I started linocut this year too. I love doing photography when I'm walking in the street, along a river, when I'm in nature.

I enjoy cooking, for my friends and people I love but also for me. I'm going on the marketplace to take some unsold food and try to find a good thing to cook with passed vegetables.

I love writing. About what I do in my life, about what I'm thinking. I made a few travel diaries also.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The time I spent in Italy :
I did an Erasmus in Rome in 2016 during my sociology bachelor degree. I met amazing people with who I still friend today. It's also a country I'm really attached to because I lived there when I was a child, as my grandfather is italian. And I really enjoy speaking italian too.

My trip in Austria this summer by hitchiking :
I catched up my flatmate in Bratislava, we went a few days in Vienna in Austria, then we strated to hitchike trhought the country, in the Alpes. We met a father and his teenage son who hosted us for one night. It was a very touching moment with them.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can cook you some meals (vege / vegan food.. I cook a good risotto).
I can help with the house also.
I can play piano if you have one. Maybe you know the french movie Amelie Poulain ?
I can show you how I paint.
I can share some life experiences but I can also be calm if you prefer.
