About Me

ABOUT ME

2024
Hey, it’s been a while! I have just picked up my CS profile after soo long, and so much has happened since the trip of my life (see below). Actually during that trip…I met my husband! It is a very long story but, we have kind of settled in Bristol, UK. Very nice here but I can’t seem to keep still, and I’m more there than here!
This time I’m bringing my husband with me on a trip to Morocco and Lanzarote, chasing the sunny weather, and I can’t wait to live the Couchsurfer life again!

2019
After one year working as a teaching assistant at the University of Exeter, I decided I had saved enough money to start the trip of my life! Central American and Carribbean! I lived in Guatemala for one year and I am fascinated by the latin american and carribbean culture, so here I am with (almost) no plans and a lot to see.
I decided to stay as long as possible in each place, to manage to meet the local people and live an everyday life with them.

I am soon heading to Mexico, after 9 months spent in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Grand Cayman. Visiting Mexico has been my main goal, the reason why I first started to plan this trip. I only have one month to travel it and again, no real plans.

*********************************
I graduated in conservation and biodiversity and worked as a university teaching assistant t the University of Exeter in Cornwall.
I love nature and I have been working in sea turtle conservation for a while, but then worked at uni to learn how to be an inspiring teacher and show children how amazing is our planet.
I love travelling on my own because I more easily get out of my comfy zone, and end up meeting incredible people and learning amazing things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting people from everywhere, knowing new and crazy stories. I am interested in understanding the dynamics of a city, country or community and the best way to do it is living it. I like to meet local people because they are the best to show you around and introduce you to the real local life!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really listen to any possible type of music, I like when the songs have nice and poetic lyrics.
I don't watch movies a lot, but my favorite are Tarantino's movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many! And always hard to explain the feelings through words, but always happy to share my stories :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about ecology and conservation, especially applied to the ocean.
I spent a long time working with sea turtles, they're amazing animals!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good listener, you can talk about anything and everything with me!
I can share my stories, my visions and I love doing stuff! So if you need a buddy to go an explore, exercise, party, cook...I'm up for it!
