About Me
Hi there!
I'm a freelance journalist originally from Australia and a recent graduate from the Univeristy of California, Berkeley. I love to travel and luckily, my work which often focuses on social and environmental justice and immigration ahas brought me to interesting places and hopefully many more. I also love to be outdoors whether that means exploring the coast, diving the deep or hiking in the mountains. I'm enjoy cooking, reading, live music and discovering bars and going out dancing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'll be in Europe and hopefully the Middle East/North Africa for the next couple of months and would love to meet people who have similar interests. Once I'm back in California -- my adopted home for now -- I'd love to host people too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am too indecisive to choose just one favorite of anything. But right now I love the bands Tennis and the XX as well as Drake and Cardi B. One of my favorite writers is the Australian author, Tim Winton. I also love non fiction books. And I love the director Wes Anderson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam with whale sharks in Western Australia, Mexico and Honduras -- they are beautiful giants!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share my English language skills with someone while also practicing Italian, Spanish or another new language!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to cook for you (I am vegetarian though) or engage in interesting and thought provoking conversation. I also love to go out and explore if you're looking for someone to have new experiences with.
